1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Autech Innovative LLC ("Autech Innovative", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our websites or contact us.
It applies to autechinnovative.com and to inkandchapter.com, both of which are owned and operated by Autech Innovative LLC.
2. Who is responsible for your information
Autech Innovative LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our contact details are in section 13.
3. Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to submit, which typically includes:
- Contact details — your name, work email address and telephone or WhatsApp number.
- Project details — the service you are interested in, budget range, timeline and any description of your project you provide.
- Correspondence — the contents of emails and messages you send us.
We ask only for what we need in order to respond to you. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the website forms.
4. Information collected automatically
Our sites are static web pages hosted by Vercel Inc. Like virtually all web hosting, Vercel’s servers record technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and version, referring page, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. This data is generated by the hosting infrastructure for security, abuse prevention and reliability purposes.
5. What we do not do
We want to be specific about this, because it is unusual:
- We do not set cookies. Our sites place no cookies on your device.
- We do not run analytics or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session-recording and no heatmap tool on our sites.
- We do not load third-party assets. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so browsing our sites does not expose your visit to third-party content networks.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not build advertising profiles or engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
If we introduce analytics or any other tracking technology in future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent before it is used.
6. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information or quote you asked for;
- schedule and conduct consultation calls;
- prepare proposals and, if you engage us, deliver and support the agreed services;
- maintain business records and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations;
- protect the security and integrity of our sites and systems.
We will not use your contact details to send marketing unrelated to your enquiry without your consent, and any such message will include an unsubscribe option.
7. Legal bases for processing (UK and EU visitors)
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Steps prior to entering a contract — to respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- Performance of a contract — to deliver services you have engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our sites and to keep business records, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.
- Consent — where we ask for it, for example for optional marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
8. Who we share information with
We do not sell your information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, such as our website host (Vercel Inc.) and our business email provider. They may process data only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary and subject to confidentiality.
- Legal and safety reasons — where required by law, court order or regulator, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Business transfer — if our business or its assets are sold or reorganised, information may transfer to the acquirer, who must continue to protect it in line with this policy.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, we use an appropriate safeguard recognised under applicable law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally 24 months, in case you contact us again. Records relating to signed engagements are kept for the duration of the contract and for 7 years afterwards to meet tax, accounting and limitation-period requirements. Hosting request logs are retained for a short period by our host in line with their own retention schedule.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see section 11.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; have inaccurate information corrected; have information deleted; restrict or object to processing; receive your information in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any right, email support@autechinnovative.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, normally within one month. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
12. Security, children and third-party links
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls on the systems that hold enquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our sites are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the UK and EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our sites may link to third-party websites, which have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
13. Changes and how to contact us
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one, and the "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
